Official FAQ
- Is my table's audio private?
- Yes. Your recording is used only to transcribe and summarize your session, then discarded, unless you opt in to keep it for replay, a paid feature. Recaps and notes are private to your campaign, and you choose which notes your players can see.
- What does the free plan include?
- The free workspace gives you unlimited campaigns, players, and notes, and new accounts start a 30-day trial with 6 AI session hours, no card required. When the trial ends you keep one free 90-minute session with recap and wiki, yours to use whenever you want. After that, AI transcription and recaps need a paid plan; everything else stays free.
- What if my session is 3–4 hours long?
- That's the normal case. Plans are measured in AI session hours (a four-hour recording uses four hours of your monthly allowance), and a four-hour session becomes a clean recap in about ten minutes.
- Do my players need accounts, and do they pay?
- Players join your campaign free with an invite link. Only the account running the AI (usually the GM) needs a paid plan; players read recaps, browse the wiki, and post to the community at no cost.
- What happens if I stop paying?
- Nothing disappears. Your campaigns, notes, recaps, and wiki stay readable and editable. You just stop getting new AI work like transcription and summaries until you subscribe again.
- What languages are supported?
- 30+ languages, including English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Ukrainian, Russian, Greek, Turkish, Hindi, Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese. RollSummary detects the language your table speaks and writes every recap and note back in that same language.
