Official FAQ
- Does Pagerly replace Opsgenie?
- Yes. Pagerly covers on-call scheduling, escalation, call/SMS/email paging, incident response and status pages. Existing schedules import from Opsgenie and JSM, and Opsgenie customers can migrate in one click ahead of its April 2027 shutdown.
- Do responders have to leave Slack?
- No. Acknowledging a page, swapping a shift, opening an incident, updating a status page and assigning an Incident Commander all happen inside Slack or Microsoft Teams.
- Which tools does Pagerly integrate with?
- Two-way sync with Jira and Jira Service Management, Opsgenie, Shortcut and Google Calendar, plus incident creation from AWS, Datadog, Sentry and other observability tools. Pagerly also monitors 3,000+ third-party SaaS and cloud services.
- How does paging work if Slack is down?
- Paging runs on Pagerly infrastructure, not Slack. Calls, SMS and email are delivered regardless, and Slack itself is one of the 3,000+ services Pagerly monitors.
- Is Pagerly secure enough for enterprise?
- Pagerly is ISO 27001 certified and used by organisations from startups through Fortune 500. SSO, scoped OAuth permissions and data processing agreements are available.
