Official FAQ
- What is Credyt?
- Credyt is real-time monetization infrastructure for AI products. It lets you observe AI spend per customer, enforce usage limits in real time, and bill across every pricing model: usage-based, subscription, hybrid, credits, or seat-based.
- How is Credyt different from Stripe Billing?
- Stripe Billing is invoice-native: it meters usage and bills at cycle end. Credyt bills in real time. Usage is checked and charged the moment it occurs. For AI products where every API call costs you money, the difference between those two architectures is significant.
- What pricing models does Credyt support?
- All of them. Usage-based, subscription, hybrid (subscription plus usage), prepaid credits or tokens, and seat-based plans. You configure your pricing model in the dashboard and can change it without a deployment.
- Can I add Credyt to my Lovable app without a backend?
- Yes. The Credyt customer portal is an embedded component. Your app calls the Credyt API to deduct usage. No server required for the customer-facing billing flow.
- How long does integration take?
- Most teams ship their first integration in under a day. The usage API is a single POST endpoint. The billing portal is an embed with no frontend engineering required.
- Does Credyt take a percentage of my revenue?
- No. We charge per Monthly Active Wallet, not a percentage of what your customers pay. PSP fees are passed through at cost.
