- CaptureNote is an AI screenshot-to-notes tool. Upload a slide, textbook page, diagram, or photo and receive a structured note with a title, summary, key points, and terms you can search, edit, and export.
- How is this different from regular OCR?
- OCR extracts text. CaptureNote uses multimodal understanding to interpret layout, diagrams, and relationships, then writes a note you can actually study or reuse—not a wall of unformatted text.
- Which materials work best?
- Lecture slides, textbook pages, charts, diagrams, whiteboards, and clear photos of paper work best. Very low-light, heavily skewed, or unreadable images produce weaker results.
- How much can I try for free?
- New Web accounts receive 500 Credits, typically enough for a few real captures depending on image complexity and output length. Web Credits are separate from the iPhone app.
- Are my screenshots saved?
- Only an image that was successfully processed into a saved note is retained. It is compressed before upload, stored privately, and deleted with the note. Failed captures are not stored.
