What are API credits?: API credits are our payment system for transcriptions. Each transcription costs credits based on the model size, the length of the audio (billed per started hour), speaker diarization, and file size. You can purchase credits anytime and use them whenever you need transcriptions.
Do API credits expire?: No, API credits never expire. Once purchased, you can use them at any time without worrying about an expiration date.
How long do you keep my audio/video files?: We automatically delete all uploaded files after 24 hours. Only the transcription text is retained in your account. This helps ensure your data privacy while still giving you access to your transcriptions.
Do you use my data to train AI models or LLMs?: No. We never use your audio, video, or transcription content to train, fine-tune, or improve any machine learning model or large language model (LLM). Transcription runs on our own self-hosted copy of the open-source Whisper model on infrastructure we control, so your files are never sent to OpenAI or any other third-party AI provider for training. Uploaded files are automatically deleted after 24
